| Brief: | The Hotel required increased capacity in its kitchen operations, without being invasive and shutting down. | |||
| Heatwave: | Not exactly nuclear science, but certainly some creative thinking was required to accommodate the aspirations of a leading NZ chef and restaurateur, for the expanded catering operations of the Hotel. Working within strict existing physical limitations, Heatwave designed, fabricated, and installed systems that added a 30% increase in capacity to the catering operations. This required the reconfiguration of existing exhausts, adding new hoods and fans, whilst maintaining operations throughout the build. |
