| Brief: | The UOA Thomas Building lab required the construction of a new virus research laboratory in place of existing hoods room to meet Physical Containment Level 2 (PC2). | |||
| Heatwave: | Developing Labs of different PC levels is a practice Heatwave undertakes. So when the Project was proposed to develop the PC2 lab, a mid-level physical containment lab, at University of Auckland, Heatwave were an obvious choice to undertake the works. This included demolition, HVAC services relocation, supply and install of new air handling plant, MCC, control panels, Electrical for Mechanical, BMS and commissioning. |
