Fo Guang Shan Temple

Fo Guang Shan Temple

Brief: The International Buddhist Trust of NZ established the second largest Buddhist temple in the Southern hemisphere, on a 4 hectare site in suburban Auckland.
Heatwave:

Six separate buildings required Heatwave to design and build separate, heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems for each building, linked by common site services. Cooling water, heating water and natural gas were reticulated around the site to these buildings from an Energy Centre established at the rear of the site. This contained NG boilers, pumps, DHW calorifiers, heat exchangers, controls, and the potential for the future addition of cooling towers and associated equipment.
