City Rail Link – Britomart Station
| Brief: | The City Rail Link is a game-changer for Auckland. It is NZ’s largest transport project ever. This Project, C1, was for the upgrade and integration of the existing Britomart Station and CPO building for the proposed new CRL passenger rail link, making Britomart a “through” station. | |||
| Heatwave: | Heatwave was engaged to provide all the HVAC works required for the enabling, temporary and permanent works at Britomart Station, CPO building, and associated ancillary buildings. This included chillers, fan coils, AHU, close control units, process coolers, exhaust ventilation, tunnel ventilation, BMS and Controls, electrical for mechanical and seismic bracing. Heatwave developed the BIM Model, and a schedule of quantities from the model which was used for pricing and control of the contract. |
