Heatwave provided the detailed design, supply and installation of HVAC systems for the underground Britomart computer equipment, control and data centre rooms. Chilled water process cooling units ensured optimum control of temperature and humidity for these critical spaces. Rooms were also equipped with emergency ventilation systems. Critical equipment dedicated to "critical life safety" control systems included; computer systems, server banks, UPS systems with replicated independent full system redundancy.

This was a technological breakthrough project for NZ infrastructure and Heatwave has been at the forefront.
